Abstract :
Nowadays the population is ageing at a rapid pace, and in general, this increase is influenced by the number of elderly people. This implies a great effort by the institutions to cope with the needs and attention they require. The Assisted Living provides an efficient way to help in this aim, maintaining their independence. In this paper, we propose a system to supervise the user daily activities in order to get some knowledge about them. Subsequently, this knowledge is used to control the current user behaviours and send alarms when something is incorrect. This paper is focused on monitoring the user, providing a matching algorithm that is capable of checking the activities and handle the temporal information related to the user behaviours.
