Abstract
In this paper, a novel matching network for compact microwave amplifier is introduced. The concept is to minimize circuit area by combining the functions of dc block and impedance matching circuit with single distributed component. Suggested scheme is easier to extract parameters of matching circuit comparing previous work due to its reduced determinable parameters. Values of the proposed circuit are not only to miniaturize circuit area, but also to design analytically in conditionally stable amplifier with stability margin analysis. Since it could be adopted in any passive networks that contain dc block and impedance matching network simultaneously, application area would be wide in the microwave/millimeter-wave components.
