Abstract
It´s very common to meet most parts of image that have common geometric features, such as linear or rectangular. Basing on those geometric features, a new image compression algorithm is proposed in this paper, which is called rotating mapping curve fitting (RMCF) image compression. Experimental results show that the algorithm is feasible, and has good performance in high compression ratio.
