            Abstract :
Using the separability of the Volterra spectrum with the amplitude modulation (AM) stimulation, an approach of characteristic extracting for weakly nonlinear circuits diagnosis is presented based on the Volterra frequency domain slices (VFDS). Based on VFDS decomposition, the nonlinear diagnosis problem can be implemented on linear sub-circuits, and the phenomenon of faults characteristicpsilas overlap and cross can be decreased, even eliminated. In paper, the conditions of stimulation and sampling for VFDS decomposition are discussed, the fault information which including the VFDS is analyzed, then the fault characteristics are extracted by fitting the VFDS response. Finally, with a circuit simulation to illuminate the proposed is available.
