Abstract :
Based on test investigations carried on the pollution flashover performance of A, B, C short samples of 750 kV composite insulators in the multifunction artificial climate chamber of Chongqing University, This work indicates the flashover voltage is affected with artificial pollution test methods. Also, insulator configuration affects its flashover performance, so changing its configuration can increase its flashover voltage.
