  • Abstract
    Recent results obtained with the multilevel fast multipole algorithm (MLFMA) suggest that this method can be used at higher frequencies than direct solution associated to moment methods. However MLFMA can be less efficient for cavity problems, for coated scatterers, and for large number of right hand sides. We investigate here the efficiency of MLFMA for large PEC or coated air intake problems and for monostatic RCS computations involving large number of right hand sides.
