  • Abstract
    A beam is injected into the Institute of High Energy Physics (IHEP) accelerator 29 times per cycle, each time filling one unfilled bucket. In the present work, an attempt was made to measure the parameters of betatron (H and V) oscillations, as well as of dipole and quadrupole synchrotron oscillations of a just-injected burst. The measurement results are processed online to transform them into the machine parameters. The correction data and statistical information characterizing the parameter stability are displayed. These enable prompt and comprehensive tuning of the two machines, thereby allowing minimization of the oscillation amplitude. A specific feature of the measuring equipment is the need to record the parameters of one bunch specified from a number circulating in the accelerator
