Abstract :
A fundamental task in multi-agent systems is matchmaking, which is to retrieve and classify service descriptions of agents that (best) meet a given service request. In this paper, we present ontology based on agent services compatible matchmaking mechanism for multi-agent system. Based on description of domain ontology by domain conceptization language (DCL) and description of services advertisement and request by services description language (SDL), middle agent provides mediate services for service provider and service requester by three kinds of compatible matchmaking strategies, i.e. the classifying matching, the parameter matching and the constraint matching. The matchmaking process of agent services is discussed in an example. After analysis and evaluation, this paper gives a conclusion.
