Abstract :
For city remote sensing, one class of important features is straight line, like the streets in the cities. Radon transform is one kind of important tool for straight line detection with good anti-noise characteristic, The straight line shape in image forms a steep peak in Radon parameter space, and the width of the peak reflects the width of straight line in image. A peak craggedness factor is defined to measure the degree that how the peak point is isolated and then give the principle of automatically peak detection, based on automatic straight line detection, A new registration algorithm based on straight line feature is proposed in this paper.
