Abstract :
A sixth order isotropic FDTD algorithm has been described. The algorithm can be of great importance in cases where high global isotropy is required such as radiation and cavity related problems. The algorithm is also very attractive for single frequency problems where dispersion can be easily eliminated by introducing correcting artificial material dispersion.
