Abstract :
We study procurement model for supermarket based on category management. First, we establish the two-dimension model of commodity classification taking importance and procurement risk as two criteria. Corresponding index system is constructed in which the separate index weight is calculated through analytical hierarchy process. Secondly, procurement model for supermarket is proposed based on category management according to characters of different commodities. Finally, we verify the study of commodity classification method and procurement model by taking A supermarket as an application. We suggest that supermarket can enhance efficiency and cut procurement cost by using this procurement model.
