  • Abstract
    The design of the newly installed medium-β insert of the Fermilab Recycler Ring is presented. The design philosophy is outlined. The stringent optical and physical constraints, as well as their influence on the design, are discussed. The impact of the medium-β insert on the Recycler Ring is shown. The engineering design and installation of the new insert is presented
