Abstract
This communication intends to show that geometric algebra in three dimensions, Clscr3, is also a very useful tool to analyze anisotropic media by providing geometric and physical insight through the natural use of linear algebra. As a specific example the problem of electromagnetic wave propagation in biaxial (nonmagnetic) crystals is analyzed.
