Abstract
This follow-up computerized study of Prehospital Care Reports (PCRs), aimed at further improving the quality of care provided by North Shore Rescue Squad (NSRS), a volunteer ambulance squad serving Staten Island, NY, expanded the database of a preliminary 6 month investigation. Information extracted from the data regarding the most common medications reported on the PCRs, and the most frequent geographic response locations, revealed changes in call location concentrations and consistency in medications reported. Distribution of geographic information to NSRS drivers, as well as medication information to all squad members, is a method of attaining the goal of improved prehospital patient care
