Abstract :
The deficiencies of tachographs have encouraged the design of a recorder that allows direct registration of driving data into the memory, which substantially simplifies automatic reading and transmission of data into the computer system. Thus the accuracy and reliability of the record are upgraded, and the reading of expensive, impractical, and unreliable tachograph paper data cards (which connect the tachograph and the computer) is avoided. This recorder is discussed in terms of connections, operation (measurements, calculations, and storage), and instructions for use.<>
