Abstract :
Characteristics of the tunable resonator with a ferroelectric capacitor depend on the commutation quality factor (CQF) of the capacitor. The CQF is used for evaluation of maximum tunability of the resonator depending on the tunability and loss tangent of the capacitor. The experimental technique for a measurement of the CQF and ferroelectric capacitor characteristics is proposed and discussed.
