Abstract :
Waveform set with low-range sidelobes plays an important role in multiple-input and multiple-output (MIMO) radar. In this paper, the linear frequency modulation and phase-coded (LFM-PC) waveform including its properties is analytically presented. Furthermore, a Frank code set with zero sidelobe zones is proposed in the pursuit of low peak sidelobes, while the processing method is proposed to compress the Frank-coded LFM waveforms for MIMO radar. Numerical simulations are provided for testing the presented waveform and method.
