Abstract
This paper investigates the influence of the capacity coupling on the antenna characteristics. In order to obtain logical results, we adopt the spiral of Archimedes for the scroll configuration and change the mutual and capacity coupling between the meander lines on the layers by changing initial radius r0 and distance d between the layers of the spiral. After basic study of the antenna characteristics when r0 and d are changed using a fixed meander line configuration, we investigate the influence of downsizing the antenna on the mutual and capacity coupling using parallel calculation of the GA (genetic algorithm).
