Abstract :
An intelligent control stratagem is proposed for time-varying large delay system that have a complex nonlinear characteristic. In this method, the GA is used to identify the time-varying delay. An improved adaptive vector forgetting factor is used to identify other time-varying parameters of the system, then, the Smith predictor is applied to compensate the delay. The simulation results indicate the effectiveness of this method.
