Author_Institution :
Dept. of Electr. Eng., Purdue Univ., Hammond, IN, USA
Abstract :
Two models are presented for a course in power electronics: (a) a one-semester course, and (b) a one-quarter semester course. The laboratory experiments to support the lectures are outlined. The importance of computer-aided design in solving nonlinear switching functions is discussed with respect to addressing design aspects of the courses
