Abstract :
We give a summary and a analysis of the wakefields in the dielectric channels. We found that using a conventional description of the electromagnetic wave propagation in dielectric channel, we can derive the power flow and wakefield generation. Detailed analysis of the higher order HEM II mode is also given including separation of TM and TE dominated modes. Numerical calculations of the longitudinal and transverse Wakefields in multimode structures are given
