Abstract :
Corona discharges affect the lifetime of a multitude of electrical devices. The present paper will introduce Voltron™, a new generation of wire enamel with outstanding corona resistance. This new magnet wire enamel is suitable for applications in inverter fed motors, transformers, electrical hybrid vehicles, simply, everywhere corona discharges can occur.
