Abstract :
In this paper, the FEM (finite element method) for the quasi static condition has been applied to evaluate the EM field interaction with the cells in different shapes, such as ellipsoid. The influences of the cells shape and its orientation to the applied electric field have been assessed. The results obtained have cast light on a number of observations in the process of electroporation.
