Abstract :
Novel distributed mixer functionalities can be obtained by using artificial transmission lines with new dispersion diagrams. In particular, wideband distributed mixers with image-rejection capability are now possible. In this contribution, some relevant design guidelines of such mixers are discussed. The experimental performance of a mock-up of such a mixer is also presented.
