Abstract
Slowly-fading channels with ideal or partial side information on the fading levels are addressed. We focus on information-theoretic considerations, regarding two main issues: the effect of decoding delay constraints, and the effect of the amount of side information available to the receiver. Several channel models are discussed, and both new and known results are presented in a unified framework.
