Abstract
The algorithm of atmospheric path radiation is very important for remote sensing research. In the paper, the general models of atmospheric path radiation are introduced briefly. Next, the new method of atmospheric path radiation for inhomogenous atmosphere on MODIS remote sensing images is put forward in detail. Combining with the classification of MODIS remote sensing images by multi-band spectrum including water, cloud and land sorts, the images of atmospheric path radiation for inhomogenous atmosphere on MODIS remote sensing images are carried out pixel by pixel. Finally, the experiment result indicates the positive correlation between the values of atmospheric path radiation and air pollution index of main cities based on China city map matched with MODIS09.
