Abstract :
The use of Extra-high voltages transmission lines causes many problems, that due to the high value of the electrostatic field on the ground level which has an effect on human beings, animals, and plants. This paper investigates the effects of the compensating conductors´ parameters, namely, the number of the compensating conductors, their radii, their heights above the ground and the spacing between them, on the Right-of-Way (ROW), and Radio interference level (RI).
