Abstract :
The traffic engineering is one of the most important issues influence performance of networks. To address interdomain traffic control in Autonomous Systems, several methods have been proposed by researchers. In this paper, we are presented HTS, a BGP-based hierarchical network traffic reconfiguration method to redistribute traffic on overloaded link in IP-based network. Proposed algorithm operates at two steps. Firstly overload detection function fulfills an explorer algorithm to construction overloaded link table. Finally HTS scheme scattering traffic on overloaded path to exterior level. The performed experiments have been shown efficiency of proposed method in load balancing and good performance when the offered traffic loads change randomly.
