Abstract :
Let a plant and a feedback control scheme be given where measure and control signals are sent over a wireless network. We propose a theoretical framework for modeling the joint dynamics of the plant and the communication system configuration. We study the effects of the wireless link on the plant dynamics exploiting a finite Markov Chain abstraction, that models the closed loop system consisting of a plant, a digital controller and a communication system.
