Abstract :
A scheme of multi-IMC adaptive control for main steam temperature in the power plant is presented in this paper. The internal forward models consist of a set of fixed models which are preset and an adaptive model whose parameters can be tuned on line by an adaptive mechanism using the error between the output of the real plant and that of the model. The controllers are constructed by the transcription of the parameters of the forward models based on IMC theory. The simulation results show that the presented control system has satisfactory performance.
