Abstract :
This paper presents some existence conditions of descriptor symmetric controller for descriptor linear system with the plant itself being symmetric or control specifications being symmetric. It´s different from previous papers which require the plant and control specifications are both symmetry, especially by relaxing the symmetry constraint of the control specification. And then these conditions are given in terms of the feasibility of a convex optimization problem which would be obtained numerically in matlab. Finally, using the descriptor mechanical system as a practical case illustrates the effectiveness of the proposed method.
