Abstract :
In cognitive radar, it is very important to select proper waveform to transmit according to different environment. The adaptivity of waveform corresponding to environment can be realized in many ways. In this paper, stochastic dynamic programming model of adaptive waveform selection is proposed. With this model, dynamic programming algorithms can be used to solve the problems of adaptive waveform selection. The necessity of adaptive waveform selection has been shown with simulations. Finally, the whole paper is summarized.
