Abstract :
This paper presents extension of our efficient on-chip antenna structure for 60 GHZ and 77 GHz frequency bands using mainstream silicon technologies. The challenges are implementation of an efficient antenna while isolated from substrate and RF circuits on the same substrate on low resistivity silicon substrate. Two antenna designs for the above bands are presented. The radiation efficiency of more than 30% is achieved.
