Abstract :
The authors discuss a graph theoretic approach to organize knowledge in rule-based systems to make them complete, concise and consistent. The topics discussed are: knowledge organization in expert systems development; knowledge representation using data structures; production rules; semantic nets; frames; and the necessity for knowledge organization. A graph theoretic approach for knowledge organization is presented, and an algorithm for knowledge organization is described
