Abstract :
The Personal Software Process (PSP) is a defined and measured software process designed to be used by an individual software engineer, while the control theory is based on the foundations of feedback theory and linear system analysis, and it integrates the concepts of network theory and communication theory. Prior studies on PSP mostly focus on the process improvement using the PSP, which lacks the fundamental theoretical research on the PSP itself. In this paper, we will combine the PSP and the control theory. This paper firstly reviews the PSP and the control theory briefly, and then describes the PSP revolution with block diagrams using control theory. Also, we will illustrate some details about the models.
