  • Abstract
    This paper presents a broadband printed slot antenna that has been demonstrated experimentally. The antenna is a circular slot fed by a CPW line through a polygonal patch. The obtained results show that the proposed antenna occupies a small area and offers a large bandwidth from 2.6 to 15 GHz. Furthermore, this antenna radiates bidirectionally in the E-plane and omnidirectionally in the H-plane. These features make it a good candidate for ultra-wideband wireless applications.
