Abstract :
The formal technical education in India dates back to the mid 19th century. Advisory and statutory body called All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), an apex body was established for proper planning and coordinated developments of technical education system throughout the country. This paper presents the dynamics of region wise growth engineering education infrastructure in India with respect to time. The studies have been made regarding such developments across the India and bring out the salient features of such developments. Report also brings out the statistical parity during such developments and the possible reasons for such unbalance growth and developments.
