Abstract :
In this paper, a new design about planar microstrip-line-fed slot antenna utilizing a simply elliptical slot for bandwidth enhancement is proposed and investigated. By selecting a suitable ratio of its axes, it can be found that the ultra-wideband operation can be obtained. Details of the antenna design and experimental results are presented and discussed.
