Abstract :
At the end of 2006, Chinese WAMS/GPS working group has started the renewal of PMU standards. Synchrophasor measurement, dynamic recording and real-time communication are defined as primary functions of PMU. Working group suggest PMU shall measure generator rotor angle. The bandwidth of 45-55 Hz has been versified in new draft following the PMU testing guide of NASPI-North American Synchrophasor Initiative.
