Abstract :
Many telecom operators and engineers do not take into account the whole powering network aspects when a new service and/or a new technology is going to be launched to the market. Here, we present a new concept for the engineering and the implementation of powering networks for the telecom systems-the so called remote powering. Since the local power feeding of equipment can be eliminated based on this concept, we consider remote powering as a very efficient solution.
