Abstract :
It is proposed IR-UWB(impulse radio ultra wideband) tag and reader for RTLS(Real-Time Location System). Tag works as a transmitter and reader works as a receiver, the tag transmits impulse signal to readers periodically. Each reader checks time of arrival of impulse signal and send time information to location server for calculating position of tag. The tag and reader are tested for this system.
