Abstract
A fuel cell power system (FCPS) that offers a viable alternative to traditional premium power systems for telecommunications applications is made possible by recent developments in fuel cell technologies and product design. An FCPS can potentially function with equal or better performance in terms of power availability and quality, compared to traditional system, and at a lower cost. Continuing research and development in this field will bring this closer to reality.
