Abstract :
At Institute of Advanced Energy, Kyoto University we have started study of tabletop THz FEL amplifier. Spectral range of FEL is aimed at 150-300 mum. The whole length of amplifier was designed to be less than 4 m. For conceptual design, start-to-end simulation of FEL was made by simulation code Parmela and GENESIS 1.3. The slippage effect and the diffraction loss were taken into account FEL simulation. The output power of about 5 kW was expected from the design scheme.
