  • Abstract
    This paper presents results from a study performed for identifying optimal operating strategies of a major pumped storage facility. A new probabilistic production costing algorithm, which included stochastic representation of generating units as well as transmission system, was used in this study. Use of minimum spread for developing operating rules is described
