Grouping Strategy of Collaborative Learning: Cluster Analysis

On the basis of basic concept, characteristics and components of collaborative learning, this paper presents the importance of collaborative learning grouping, and then proposes an intelligent grouping method based on cluster analysis technology. At first, the paper introduces grouping criteria and methods centering on grouping strategy. Secondly, the paper presents concept of cluster analysis, variables selection and two grouping mode selection (Once-for-all mode and Real-time mode). Cluster grouping validation analysis shows the proposed method is efficient and follows the criteria of "heterogeneous in group, homogeneous among groups".
