Abstract
The deniable authentication protocols are very useful for providing secure negotiations over the Internet. An ID-based deniable authentication protocol has the advantages of an ID- based cryptosystem. To enhance the efficiency and the security of the ID-based deniable authentication protocols, based on the Cha-Cheon signature scheme, by encrypting a random element and the time stamp and signing the corresponding ciphertext and the message to be identified respectively, an ID-based non-interactive deniable authentication protocol from pairings is proposed. The proposed protocol not only has the properties of deniability and completeness but also has the enhanced security. It can be proved to be secure against forgery attack, impersonation attack, compromised session secret attack and key compromise impersonation (KCI) attack.
