  • Abstract
    Based on the I-V equation of photovoltaic (PV) cell and the output characteristics of maximum power point tracking (MPPT), this paper proposes a novel identification method to identify four key parameters of PV array: photo current Iph, negative saturation current I0 , diode ideality factor n and the series resistance of cells Rs, by using the measured input and output data of PV array. According to the gotten I-V equation, the model can predict the output power of PV plant accurately. Finally, the feasibility and accuracy of the proposed method are verified by data simulations and practical examples.
