Abstract :
Techniques are presented for obtaining an optimum filter response for narrowband requirements of a single passband and a single stopband. For transformed elliptic function responses, the minimum number of resonators can be easily determined, resulting in reduced size and weight relative to more conventional bandpass or bandstop filters.
