Abstract

This paper presents a 1V 3^rd order SigmaDelta audio DAC with headphone driver. The circuit includes a 1^st order FIR, 2^nd order low-pass filter and as well as the headphone driver all are integrated into the internal DAC by sharing one compact low-voltage class-AB operational amplifier per channel. Implemented in 0.18-mum CMOS process it achieves 90 dB dynamic range (DR) and consumes 2.6 mW per channel from 1-V supply.
