Abstract
Hybrid asymptotic theory of diffraction by bodies with fringes is reviewed. The theory bases on mode and edge waves technique both. A non-uniform horn antenna, dielectric surface wave antenna and other samples are considered. The results of calculations compared to experimental ones.
